(ECNS) -- China's home-developed C919 aircraft will inaugurate its fourth regular commercial flight route on Friday, announced China Eastern Airlines (CEA).

Flight MU5309 is set to embark from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport at 9:30 a.m. and scheduled to arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 11:55 a.m. On its return trip, flight MU5316 will depart Guangzhou at 13:30 p.m., and land in Shanghai by 4:00 p.m.

Together with three other routes from Shanghai to Beijing, Chengdu and Xi'an, the C919 will be operating on four regular commercial flight routes, providing passengers with increased convenience.
